squelch was formed in january 1997 and performed many times on all the major venues in Bergen, Norway. A.o. it played support for Gene on Hulen, Bergen. They also played in Samfundet, Trondheim in 2000. The band has released two demo CDs, one of them who was selected as a finalist at the demo contest Bylarm in Trondheim, Norway 1998. Squelch was Pick hit of the day on amp3.com in june 1999.
